The ministry of Youth Providence began as small glimpses of revelation that young Brandy Jeffrie had only seen in faith. At 15 years old, God revealed to her through a dream that she would be a guide and advocate for young people and their salvation. In this dream, as it was apparent that the enemy desired God’s children, she led a group of young people from a schoolyard, passed the ready hands of the enemy, and on a trying journey that ultimately ended at the steps of a church house.
In 2011, God endorsed her passion for young mothers revealing that she would own a resource center aiding young women with children. Finally, in 2013, after many signs of confirmation, Pastor Brandy included the daughter of a close friend in a small bible study that she had begun with her own young children. Although these revelations/experiences may not have seemed cohesive, let alone possible at the moment, it’s clear today that the thing that once started as a dream is nothing short of a multifaceted ministry that is yet unfolding.
Youth Providence is driven by the desire to impact generations of youth by equipping them with the knowledge, faith, and resources to become servant leaders ad self-sufficient while growing in the love of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished actively through life studies, bible study, resource provision, and spiritual training. Pastor Brandy’s ultimate motivation for pushing Youth Providence through every phase of growth is a simple truth, “We need young people to know that they have a place, they have a voice, they are the future, and they can make a change.”
